Frequently Asked Questions

DINP is mainly used in flexible PVC and soft polymer products, including electrical wires and cables, automotive interiors, PVC flooring and leather, artificial leather, waterproof membranes, flexible films, plastic hoses, seals, wallpaper, footwear materials, and edge banding. It is suitable for medium- and high-end flexible plastic applications requiring flexibility, processing stability, and migration resistance.

Compared with traditional DOP, DINP typically offers lower volatility, stronger migration and extraction resistance, better heat, weathering, aging resistance and electrical insulation performance. It also provides improved low-temperature flexibility and lower processing fumes, making it suitable for flexible PVC products requiring longer service life and greater stability.

DINP is suitable for standard flexible PVC products, while DPHP has a higher molecular weight, lower volatility, and better heat and aging resistance, making it more suitable for demanding applications such as wire and cable and outdoor PVC.

DINP offers good resistance to ultraviolet radiation, oxidation, acids, and alkalis. It is suitable for long-term outdoor applications such as PVC films, advertising fabrics, and building materials, helping reduce the risk of yellowing, cracking, and embrittlement.

Yes. DINP has strong compatibility and can be blended with DOTP, ESBO, TOTM, DIDP, DPHP and other plasticizers to balance cost and performance while optimizing formulations for heat resistance, cold resistance and weather resistance.
